To celebrate their 2nd birthday FairyLoot swapped out the traditional beautiful black box for a purple and the theme Memorable Moments, because 2 years means a lot of moments.
As with every FairyLoot box, the artwork is stunning and you get a bookmark to match the spoiler card – you can never have enough bookmarks and collectables, and a card with a code to find your reading buddies. But for now let’s talk about the memorable moments represented in the box.
First we get a super cute cork bunting by Paladone. Perfect to pin you tickets, photos, pins and paraphernalia to. Or to custom a creative bookstagram.
The next item is a deliciously soft scarf by FictionTea Designs inspired by the rune ceremonies in The Mortal Instrument and Shadowhunter books. This black and white beauty will go with everything and makes a stunning background too.
Keeping third things third is the Triward Cup themed Goblet of Fire candle by Paper Flames Candle Co. What’s more memorable than Professor Dumbledore table flipping and cartwheeling down the Great Hall to calmly ask Harry if he put his name in the Goblet of Fire?
What iconic event is next? I hear you say. Remember when Jon Snow, King of the North pledged fealty to Daenerys an became Warden of the North? Its time to toast that alliance with a hot chocolate made for the occasion by Eponine.
Now the penultimate prize before the book unveiling is memorable, momentous, and birthday! Coming from Geeky Clean is a Bilbo Birthday Cake soap. I mean, do birthdays get any bigger than Bilbo’s?
Now to the main event, the opening of the fairy bag of dreams, the finding of the fiction, the book.
The exclusive hardback edition of Melinda Sailsbury’s State of Sorrow. I’m a huge fan of The Sin Eaters Daughter series, so I am really excited about this. Along with the book is a signed bookplate, author letter, postcard, the bookmark and the buddy read code card. An added birthday bonus booklet FairyScoop celebrates the last 2 years.
A Belles button and bookmark bonus round out the treasures and it’s time to kick back and enjoy before getting excited about next months theme.
